Illness

Children often get sick. When determining whether your child should stay home school due to illness, several important factors come into play that reflect both the well-being of the child and the health of the wider community. Parents must assess the nature and severity of their child's symptoms. Common signs of illness, such as persistent fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or contagious conditions like conjunctivities, flu and hand-foot-and -mouth, often necessitate a break from school to allow for recovery and to prevent the spread of infection amoug peers.

When your child is ready to return to child care, you will need  a note, signed and stamped from your child's doctor indicating that they are free from contagions.

Dietary Concerns

We understand many children have dietary restrictions due to allergies, religious beliefs and/or personal preferences.  Should you wish to limit or forbid certain food items for any reason, please notify us beforehand, in writing  and we will ensure that no offensive food item is served to your child.
